Thomas C. Irving is a Professor of Biology, Physics, and Biomedical Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), affiliated with the Lewis College of Science and Letters. He serves as Director of the Biophysics Collaborative Access Team (BioCAT). His research focuses on muscle structure/function, cardiac physiology, and applications of synchrotron radiation in biophysical studies.
