Thom Baguley

Thom Baguley is a Professor of Experimental Psychology and Director of Psychological Research at the School of Social Sciences, Nottingham Trent University (NTU). He also serves on NTU's Psychology department and Athena SWAN Self-Assessment Team. His career includes roles at Loughborough University and other UK institutions since completing his PhD from the Open University in 1994.

Research focuses on human cognition, including spatial memory, face/voice processing, and statistical modeling in behavioral/social sciences. He authored the textbook Serious Stats (2012) and previously edited the British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology. His work appears in top journals like Cognitive Psychology and Psychological Review.
