Thierry Strässle is a Researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Switzerland. He holds a PhD in Experimental Physics from ETH Zurich and completed postdoctoral work at Université Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris, specializing in neutron scattering. At PSI since 2005, he oversees the FOCUS time-of-flight spectrometer at the Swiss Spallation Neutron Source (SINQ), focusing on advanced materials under extreme conditions.
