Thibaut Schilt serves as Professor and Program Director of French and Francophone Studies at College of the Holy Cross, where he also holds the position of Ombud within the Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures.

Schilt specializes in French Cinema, Contemporary French Literature and Culture, and Gender Studies, with significant contributions to Francophone and European cinema scholarship. His work critically examines road movies, Quebec filmmaking, and transnational perspectives in global French-language cinema, frequently intersecting with postcolonial and gender frameworks.
