Amanda Vredenburgh is an Assistant Professor of French in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Houston, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. She specializes in contemporary French and Francophone Studies with a focus on the fantastic genre, ecocriticism, postcolonial studies, and migration narratives. Her work examines environmental, political, and social issues through literary analysis.
