Thiago Nascimento Krause

Thiago Nascimento Krause is an Associate Professor at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, affiliated with the Department of History and African American Studies. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he holds a Ph.D. in History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2015). His research focuses on Brazilian and Atlantic World history, with a particular emphasis on slavery, global connections, and digital humanities. He has held fellowships at institutions including the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton) and the British Library.
