Therese Djärv is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Department of Medicine, Solna, Karolinska Institutet, and a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at Karolinska University Hospital. She holds an Adjunct Professorship (2021-2024) and has a PhD in Molecular Medicine (2010) and a Medical Degree (2007), both from Karolinska Institutet.
Her research focuses on in-hospital cardiac arrest prevention, ethical resuscitation decisions, and improving patient outcomes through early warning systems. Key interests includecardiac arrest epidemiology, ethical healthcare practices, and clinical decision-making.
