She leads major initiatives like the Aus-ROC Centre of Research Excellence and chairs key organizations such as the Australian Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium (Aus-ROC) Executive Committee and the Basic Life Support Taskforce for the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
Bray has secured over $23 million in competitive funding, including the Heart Matters Trial as Principal Investigator. Her work spans randomized controlled trials (e.g., AVOID, RINSE, EXACT) and large-scale observational studies. She is an Associate Editor for Resuscitation Plus and sits on the editorial boards of leading journals in emergency medicine. Awards include the American Heart Association Young Investigator Prize and Fellowship of the American Heart Association.
Her projects address barriers to bystander CPR, AED accessibility, and disparities in cardiac arrest care. Recent work examines interventions like drone-delivered AEDs and targeted social media campaigns to improve health literacy in culturally diverse populations. She collaborates globally to refine resuscitation guidelines and optimize emergency response systems.
