Theresa Henkel is a Researcher at the University of Potsdam's Department of Economics, affiliated with the Chair of Economics, in particular Economic Policy. She serves as a PhD student at the Berlin School of Economics (BSE) since 2023. Her research focuses on empirical labor market dynamics, education economics, and family economics, with contributions to studies on climate policy co-benefits and education policy interventions. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Münster and an M.Sc. in 'Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods' from the University of Potsdam, completing her master's thesis on the labor market effects of the EU's Eastern Enlargement in 2023.
Theresa joined the faculty team in June 2021 as a student assistant and transitioned to a research assistant role in April 2023. She is based at Campus Griebnitzsee, Building 1, Room 3.05a, and offers consulting hours by appointment via email. She actively participates in research initiatives such as the Berlin Applied Micro Seminar (BAMS) and the Potsdam Research Seminar in Economics (PRSE).
