Sophie Wagner is a Researcher at the University of Potsdam's Department of Empirical Economics, affiliated with the Chair of Empirical Economic Research. She holds a M.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Potsdam and a B.Sc. in the same fields from the University of Hamburg. Since April 2021, she has contributed to research projects focusing on labor market policies, entrepreneurship, and human capital investments. Her work involves evaluating programs like the 'Startchancen' initiative and analyzing economic behavior through quantitative methods.
Key research areas include policy impact assessments, labor market dynamics, and applied econometric analysis. She collaborates within interdisciplinary teams at the Center for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA) and the Potsdam Center for Quantitative Research (PCQR).
