Dr. Theresa Bechtel is an Associate Professor of Instruction at the University of Iowa College of Nursing, where she has served as full-time faculty since 2016. Previously, she worked as an adjunct instructor while completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Allen College in 2020. Her career includes over 15 years of clinical experience as a staff nurse in adult inpatient units at UI Hospital & Clinics (UIHC).
