Prof. Thelá Thatch is an Adjunct Professor at the University of West Los Angeles (UWLA) School of Business, specializing in Human Resource Management, Diversity, and Leadership. Prior to UWLA, she held adjunct roles at Strayer University, Walden University, and Neumann University, teaching courses on DEI, public policy, and human resources for graduate programs. She is also the Founder and Chief Equity Officer of Thelá Thatch Consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies on diversity initiatives and human capital strategies.
Her career includes roles as an executive consultant for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and Chief Diversity Officer at Live Nation Entertainment. She has authored a children’s book, The Dog Chef, and is preparing two upcoming books: Inclusionomics™ and The Diversity Dilemma (2023).

Thelá advocates for marginalized communities, co-founding the nonprofit Time2Dream to support minority entrepreneurs. She actively engages in African economic development, working with entrepreneurs in Senegal and Ivory Coast.
