Dr. Mary Kay Vona is a Lecturer at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management with over 37 years of industry and consulting expertise in people analytics, talent transformation, and the future of work. She concurrently serves as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University, The George Washington University, and UC Davis. Her professional background includes executive roles leading People Analytics, Talent Management, and HR Operations at General Electric (GE) and consulting partnerships with organizations undergoing digital transformation.
Dr. Vona's research and teaching focus spans:
- Organizational transformation strategies
- Workforce learning and development frameworks
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) analytics
- Talent management in technology-enabled environments
- Change management methodologies
Beyond academia, Dr. Vona serves as a board advisor to organizations focused on ethical use of people data and previously held board positions at Davis Akilah College and the Florida Holocaust Museum. She currently contributes to advisory boards for the World Institute of Action Learning (WIAL), Women's Business Collaborative (WBC), and National Council of Education and Human Development at The George Washington University, where she has endowed a Doctoral Chair Scholarship.
