معرفی
Dr. Thao Le is a Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales, where she explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and human psychology. She earned her PhD in Engineering and IT from the University of Melbourne, focusing on explainable AI systems to enhance decision-making. Her research is supported by an ARC Discovery Project (2025-2027) aimed at harnessing AI to reduce loneliness.
Her scholarly work spans environmental chemistry and AI, with key contributions to PFAS degradation, photocatalytic pollutant removal, and Fenton reaction mechanisms. Despite her current AI focus, her publications reflect expertise in environmental remediation, chemical engineering, and nanostructured catalysts. Her research integrates computational modeling with experimental validation, addressing challenges in water purification and contaminant behavior.
Dr. Le’s career bridges interdisciplinary domains, from computational methods in AI to analytical techniques in environmental science. She collaborates with the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre and leverages high-performance computing infrastructure through UNSW’s Research Technology Services.
