Xingmao Ma

Xingmao 'Samuel' Ma is a Professor in the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, part of the College of Engineering. His research focuses on environmental health and safety of engineered nanomaterials, biogeochemistry of emerging contaminants, phytoremediation, ecosystem restoration, and water reuse. He holds a Ph.D. from Missouri University of Science and Technology (2004).

Dr. Ma’s work integrates experimental and computational approaches to address environmental challenges, including nanoparticle toxicity, contaminant remediation, and plant-soil interactions.
