Xiujuan Chen

Xiujuan Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research focuses on water/wastewater treatment technologies, membrane filtration systems, and environmental applications of nanotechnology. She directs projects funded by organizations including the Water Research Foundation and Trinity River Authority, developing solutions for PFAS removal, oil spill cleanup, and sustainable water purification.

Research areas include:
