Thalia Prastitou

Thalia Prastitou is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Department of Law, European University Cyprus. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Bristol (2007–2012) and qualifications from the Cyprus Bar Council and University of Warwick. Her research focuses on EU contract law, digital market regulation, environmental law, and consumer protection. She has contributed to major Springer volumes on EU Internet Law and participated in EU-funded projects like H2020’s GRACE and LAW-GAME initiatives. Key roles include Coordinator of the LLM in International Commercial Law and Member of the Editorial Board of ENTHA Student Law Journal.

Her publications analyze EU policy impacts on digital contracts, platform regulation, and waste management compliance. Recent work addresses data privacy in digital transactions and the legal challenges of deforestation-free products. She actively engages in interdisciplinary research through collaborations with institutions like CERIDES and PPMi research centers.
