Terri Stewart

Terri Stewart serves as an Instructor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing, joining the faculty in October 2017. She teaches leadership and adult health courses within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.

Her educational background includes:

• Diploma in Nursing from Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, Memphis
• BSN from Union University, Memphis
• MSN in Nursing Administration from University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing

With 45 years of clinical experience, Ms. Stewart specializes in nursing leadership, administration, and oncology nursing. Her expertise spans executive roles including Chief Nursing Officer at Saint Francis Hospital (2010-2017), home health, hospice care, and acute care settings. She integrates this extensive practice experience into teaching future nursing leaders.

Ms. Stewart actively precepts undergraduate and graduate leadership students, drawing from her multidisciplinary background in staff development and clinical practice across home health, hospice, and oncology settings.
