Shakila Erby

Dr. Shakila Erby is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing, appointed in December 2023. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (2023) from Samford University, an MSN in Nursing Education from Capella University (2016) and a BSN from Baptist Health Sciences University (2009). Dr. Erby’s clinical background spans cardiac/pulmonary medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, and extensive experience as an acute-care nurse educator and clinical development specialist within Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and Baptist Memorial systems.
