Terri Cafcalas

Terri Cafcalas is an Adjunct Faculty member at the College for Creative Studies (CCS Detroit), with over 30 years of experience in art education spanning preschool to secondary levels. She previously taught at the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills and American Community Schools of Athens, Greece.

Her research focuses on art education advocacy and curriculum development for diverse student populations. She specializes in Visual Arts pedagogy and has contributed to international IB Visual Arts training as a workshop leader and examiner.

Cafcalas has served as a Field Placement teacher for CCS and Oakland University students and maintains active advisory roles in CCS art education and admissions departments. Her exhibition work includes fibers, painting, and printmaking media.
