Terrence Deak is Vice Provost and Dean of The Graduate School, and a Professor in the Psychology Department at Binghamton University. His research focuses on neuroendocrine systems, neuroimmune interactions, and the long-term consequences of stress and alcohol exposure across development. He holds a PhD and MA from the University of Colorado and a BS from Bowling Green State University.

His lab (Stress, Alcohol, and Aging) investigates these topics using rodent models to study CNS inflammation, amyloid accumulation, and vascular dysfunction.
