Terrance Smith is an Assistant Professor of Management at Saint Vincent College, serving as Graduate Director of the Master of Science in Management: Operational Excellence (MSMOE) program and Executive Director of the Kennametal Center for Operational Excellence (KCOE). He holds a D.B.A., M.B.A., and B.S. in Business Management. With a 12-year U.S. Army career as a Chief Warrant Officer 2, specializing in logistics and operations management, he earned combat medals in Afghanistan and Iraq.

His research focuses on employee engagement, turnover, continuous improvement, and leadership, with publications in the Journal of Leadership and Management and Journal of Management for Global Sustainability. He has presented at the Society for Advancement of Management International Conference and contributed to Leadership Westmoreland. Additionally, he coached men’s basketball at Saint Vincent College, earning NAIA All-American honors and induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame (2019).
