Michael Urick is the Dean of the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government at Saint Vincent College, where he also serves as a Professor of Management and Operational Excellence. He earned his Ph.D. in Management (Organizational Behavior focus) from the University of Cincinnati, along with advanced degrees from Duquesne University and Saint Vincent College. His research focuses on generational dynamics, leadership, business ethics, and organizational behavior, with publications in journals like Journal of Intergenerational Relationships and Journal of Leadership and Management. He teaches courses including Organizational Behavior, Supply Chain Management, and Research Methods in Management. Dr. Urick has consulted for regional organizations and serves on the board of the Institute for Supply Management Pittsburgh chapter. His books include Leadership in Multigenerational Organizations and The Generation Myth. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the Academy of Management and Society for Human Resource Management.
