Teri Grimmer is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at St. Mary’s University’s Greehey School of Business, joining the faculty in 2022. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Creighton University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Her research focuses on information for investment decision-making, accounting regulations, and ethical considerations, particularly examining financial statement fraud and the social justice impact of accounting policies. She also explores governance mechanisms to protect stakeholders and donor-restricted bequests.
Recent publications analyze white-collar crimes, tax policy impacts, and ethical bequest management. Her work bridges accounting theory with policy analysis and social justice advocacy.
