Teresa Pera is an academic and artist with a strong affiliation to the University of Barcelona. She earned her Graduate Degree in Fine Arts (2007), Postgraduate in Art, Knowledge and Reality (2007), and an Official Master's Degree in Artistic Production and Research (2017) from the same institution. Currently, she serves as an associate lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Barcelona in the Department of Visual Arts and Design and teaches Scale Models and Prototypes at EINA since 2020.
Her artistic research spans painting and installation, with a focus on exploring the density of matter, botanical themes, and transient hierarchies. From 2005 onward, her work has been exhibited both solo and in group shows across Europe, including institutions like the Museu de Can Caralt (Llavaneres), Espronceda Gallery (Barcelona), and Pontarte Gallery (Maastricht).
Notable scientific and artistic contributions include being a finalist for the Güell Grant (2010), participating in international biennials such as the Biennale Jeune Creation Européenne (2017-2019), and representing Catalonia in cultural centers across Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Italy, and Portugal. Her artistic career is further highlighted by residencies at Fabra i Coats (Barcelona) and representation by Pontarte Gallery.
