Jo Milne is a lecturer at EINA University, specializing in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of art, science, and visualization. She has also taught at institutions such as Winchester School of Art, Trinity College, Metafora, and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, and directed the MA in European Fine Art at Winchester School of Art.

Her research focuses on Invisible Structures, exploring methodologies used by scientists and artists to visualize the invisible. This work includes collaborations with programmers and scientists at CitiLab (Cornella), VHIR (Barcelona), and the Chemistry Department of the University of Barcelona. She also investigates the Artist’s Book and Expanded Print, examining the role of book formats in fostering dialogue and redefining serial imagery in printmaking.
Her recent publications reflect her interest in blending art and scientific inquiry, with a focus on experimental visualization techniques. Notable exhibitions include Maneres de fer mons (2018) and No faig prediccions sinó excuses (2016), alongside group shows like State of Print (2018-19) and Unbound (2017). Her awards span art and research, including the Elizabeth Greenshields Award (1989) and a University of Southampton research grant (2000).

Her collaborations highlight cross-disciplinary innovation, particularly in visualizing abstract concepts like genomic structures and cosmological paradigms.
