Teoh Kah Woon is a Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia. Her work bridges pharmacy practice and public health through community-based interventions focused on non-communicable disease prevention. She specializes in digital health solutions for prediabetes management and has led randomized controlled trials in partnership with community pharmacies and NGOs. Kah Woon’s research combines quantitative and qualitative methods, including cost-effectiveness analysis and epidemiological studies.
Her leadership includes presiding over the ISPOR Student Chapter, organizing events in health economics and outcome research. Recognitions include the 2024 YSN-ASM Chrysalis Award finalist status and a 2022 ITEX Gold Medal for innovation. Kah Woon contributes to SDGs related to good health and well-being through preventive care integration in primary healthcare systems.
She is open to supervising PhD students in preventive health, implementation science, and digital health interventions.
