Dr Tendai Douglas Svotwa is a Lecturer in Management at the University of Greenwich's Executive Business Centre within the Greenwich Business School. With a career spanning academia and commercial banking, he joined the university in April 2023 after 10 years teaching at Botswana institutions and previously served as a Chief Dealer/Treasury Manager in the corporate sector. His expertise covers business leadership, strategy, and management education.

His research focuses on strategy, leadership, entrepreneurship, family businesses, and organisational behavior, with extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. He has presented at conferences across Africa and internationally, contributing to discussions on African business schools' role in promoting entrepreneurship and organisational culture in a VUCA world.
Notable achievements include representing Africa at the EURAM Early Career Colloquium (2017) and leading research participation in the Global Leadership and Business Effectiveness (GLOBE) survey (2022). He also serves as Country Director for Botswana in the International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association (HETL).
