Tejas Aralere is an Assistant Professor in Classics, Humanities and Italian Studies at the University of New Hampshire's College of Liberal Arts. His research explores intersections between ancient Mediterranean and Indian intellectual traditions, challenging Eurocentric narratives of scientific history.
Aralere's work examines cultural exchanges in antiquity through comparative analysis of Greco-Roman and South Asian textual traditions. His research bridges classical literature, historical interpretation, and cross-cultural philosophy.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on ancient humanities, Latin literature, and critical methods in humanities, where he emphasizes interdisciplinary connections between classical studies and scientific thought.
