Ted Sugata is a Lecturer in Oboe at the Conservatory of Music, part of the College of Performing Arts at Chapman University. As an active orchestral and chamber musician, he has performed with renowned ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and Pacific Symphony since 2014. He also holds teaching roles at Azusa Pacific University, Long Beach City College, Colburn Community School of Performing Arts, and OC Music & Dance, while directing oboe and chamber music programs at the Idyllwild Arts summer program.
