Ted London is the Ford Motor Company Clinical Professor and Area Chair of Business Administration at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and a senior research fellow at the William Davidson Institute. His research focuses on business strategies for poverty alleviation, sustainable enterprises in low-income markets, and inclusive business models. He holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina, an MBA from Claremont Graduate University, and a BS from Lehigh University.
London’s work bridges academia and practice, emphasizing actionable strategies for BoP markets. He advises global corporations, non-profits, and development organizations, and has authored influential books like The Base of the Pyramid Promise. His awards include the Aspen Institute’s Faculty Pioneer Award for contributions to inclusive business education and the Page Prize for course development.
His research spans over 100 countries, with a focus on scalable solutions and cross-sector collaboration.
