Tawny Hlibok is an Associate Professor in the Department of Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University, part of the Arts and Humanities School. She specializes in sign language policy, deaf education advocacy, and linguistic human rights. Her work emphasizes community-based approaches to advancing language rights and addressing systemic inequities faced by deaf individuals.
