Tave Van Zyl, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataract.
Dr. Van Zyl's research interests focus on the molecular and genetic determinants of glaucoma. Her work is motivated by a passion to address fundamental questions in glaucoma with the goal of developing more effective therapies that improve patient outcomes and quality of life. She has received significant grant support from the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative and the American Glaucoma Society for her research.
