Prof. Dr. Orkun Müftüoğlu is a Professor at Koç University Hospital (2015–present) and previously at Medipol University School of Medicine (2013–2015). He completed subspecialty training in Cataract & Refractive Surgery (Baylor College of Medicine, 2003), Vitreoretinal Surgery (Duke University, 2006), and Advanced Refractive Surgery (Instituto Alicante, 2007), with over 20,000 surgical cases to his credit.

Holds American Medical License (USMLE-ECFMG) and has performed one-on-one surgeries in the U.S.
Scientific Recognition: Awarded first prizes by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and ESCRS. Active member of Turkish Ophthalmological Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and ESCRS committees for education and young ophthalmologists.
