Tat-How Teh

Dr. Tat-How Teh is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore), joining in August 2023. Previously, he held the same position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). His research focuses on platform economics, consumer search behavior, industrial organization, and applied microeconomic theory. He actively contributes to academic communities, co-organizing the NTU Economics Department Seminar Series and the Singapore Initiative on Digital Economics (SIDE) workshop. He serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Industrial Economics.

His research explores topics such as platform competition, data governance, and regulatory frameworks in digital markets. Key areas include network interoperability, multihoming strategies, and quasi-property rights in data ecosystems. Teh’s work bridges theoretical microeconomics with practical policy implications, addressing challenges in modern digital economies.
