Tang Cheng Keat is an Assistant Professor in Economics at Nanyang Technological University's School of Social Sciences. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics (2018) and was a visiting research fellow at the University of Southern California (2018-2019). His undergraduate and master's degrees were completed at the National University of Singapore.
Dr. Tang's research focuses on spatial policy evaluation through causal inference methods, specializing in:
- Urban and housing economics
- Transportation systems analysis
- Environmental externalities and valuation
- Economics of crime patterns
- Regional development policies
