Tariq Samad

Tariq Samad holds the Honeywell/W.R. Sweatt Chair at the University of Minnesota's Technological Leadership Institute, where he serves as Director of Graduate Studies for the MS in Management of Technology program. He maintains an adjunct appointment in Electrical and Computer Engineering after a 30-year career at Honeywell.

His expertise spans control systems theory and technology management, evidenced by leadership roles including IEEE Control Systems Society Presidency (2009) and American Automatic Control Council Presidency (2014-2015).
