Venkataramanan Balakrishnan is a Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering at Case School of Engineering, Case Western Reserve University. His research focuses on numerical methods, optimization for systems and control, control theory, and applications in communication, signal processing, robotics, and VLSI design. He holds an IEEE Fellow designation since 2012.
