Tara Morrison is a Lecturer in Business Education and Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh Business School, where she also serves as Business School Teaching Champion for Organisation Studies. With over 25 years in higher education, she has led curriculum design and delivery in leadership, HRM and organisational behaviour at Southampton Solent University and the University of the Highlands and Islands.
Education & Expertise:
- Extensive experience in higher-education programme design and business education pedagogy.
- Co-author of E-learning and Social Networking Handbook (2nd ed., 2013).
Research & Pedagogical Interests:
Her scholarship focuses on organisation studies, leadership development, human resource management and the creation of effective online learning spaces. She investigates how social presence and networked technologies enhance student engagement in blended environments, and has directed collaborative projects with regional development agencies and charitable trusts.

She continues to champion innovative, inclusive pedagogies and leads initiatives that integrate academic rigour with practical managerial skills.
