Laura Morrison

Dr. Laura Morrison is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at Ontario Tech University, specializing in Innovative Education & Emerging Technologies. With over a decade of experience in higher education, her work bridges critical digital literacies, online/hyflex pedagogy, and maker-centered education.

Dr. Morrison has secured multiple competitive grants, including SSHRC and Centre for Digital Innovation in Education awards. She mentors graduate students, organizes educational events like B.Ed. Maker Day, and has presented at over 30 international conferences. Her teaching spans courses in Digital Literacies, STEAM Pedagogy, and AI in Education, primarily delivered in online/hyflex formats.
