Tara Lambert is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Business at Whitworth University, where she has been a faculty member since 2013. She holds a D.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and both an MBA and B.A. from Whitworth University. Her expertise spans Cost/Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and Auditing, with a focus on integrating faith and ethics into accounting education. She has received the George Krull/Grant Thornton ELS Teaching Innovation Award (2021) and a Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith and Learning Research Fellowship (2021).
Her research explores ethical dilemmas in accounting through case studies of white-collar crime and emphasizes faith-based approaches to professional practice. Courses she teaches include Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Accounting Systems and Theory, and Principles of Auditing. Lambert’s work bridges practical accounting skills with ethical and faith-oriented pedagogy.
