Tara J. Roeder

Tara J. Roeder is an Associate Professor and Director of the First Year Writing Program at St. John's University's Department of Core Studies. Her work focuses on multi-modal composition, feminist theory, trauma studies, and critical animal theory. She holds a Ph.D. from CUNY Graduate Center (2014) and has taught since 2006, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to writing instruction.
