Tara Bell, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. She became the first full-time pediatrics pharmacy faculty member in 2008, a position created in response to student demand for expanded pediatric training opportunities. Bell also serves as a pediatric clinical pharmacist at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, where she mentors pharmacy students through rotations and guest lectureships.

Bell emphasizes a team-based approach to patient care, teaching students to collaborate with physicians, dieticians, social workers, and nurses. Her work focuses on preparing pharmacists to address pediatric patient needs, even if they specialize in other areas.
