Taoufik Ben-Amor is a Gordon Gray Jr Senior Lecturer in Arabic Studies at Columbia University and Director of the Columbia Arabic Summer Program in Amman. His academic career spans positions at the University of Tunis I (B.A. 1985, Doctorate 1991), where he focused on Arabic linguistics and cultural studies.
