Tanya Leise is the Brian E. Boyle Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Amherst College's Mathematics and Statistics Department. She holds a B.S. from Stanford University (1993), and M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University (1995 and 1998, respectively). Her research focuses on biomathematics, circadian rhythms, planimeters, capillary surfaces, and coupled nonlinear oscillators, with affiliations to professional societies like AMS, AWM, MAA, SIAM, and SRBR.
