Dr. Tanja Križaj is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy and Programme Lead for the MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration) at the University of Plymouth's School of Health Professions (Faculty of Health). She leads modules in Occupational Science, Foundations of Occupational Therapy, Qualitative Research Methodology, and Evidence-Based Practice, integrating clinical experience in Traumatic Brain Injury and Older Adults. As a qualitative researcher and occupational therapist, she contributes to the Faculty of Health Ethics & Integrity Committee as Co-Chair. Dr. Križaj oversees student placements, supervises research projects, and mentors PhD candidates. Her work emphasizes bridging clinical practice with academic theory, fostering student success through interdisciplinary approaches.
Her clinical background and 16-year academic career in Slovenia and the UK inform her teaching and research, focusing on holistic healthcare and occupational participation.
