Melissa Jacobs is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at the School of Health Professions, University of Plymouth (since July 2019). Her clinical background includes roles in Amputee Rehabilitation and Paediatrics. She teaches across undergraduate (BSc) and postgraduate (MSc) pathways, focusing on interprofessional practice, occupational therapy core skills, and paediatric occupational therapy. She has also delivered specialized training, including courses on 'Rehabilitation of the Upper/Lower Limb Amputee' (2010–2019) at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton, and disaster-response workshops like 'Core Training for Therapists Post Sudden Onset Disaster' (2018) with Humanity and Inclusion UK.
