Tanja Fisse

Tanja Fisse, M.A., is a Research Assistant at the Department of Journalism and Communication Research (IJK) at Leibniz University Hannover. She contributes to health communication research, focusing on medical innovations, implant technology, and patient information seeking behaviors.

She employs qualitative and mixed-methods approaches to analyze communication quality, trust, and digital health literacy in medical contexts.

Fisse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on projects at the intersection of communication science and biomedical engineering. Her teaching includes seminars on communication research methodologies and scientific work practices. Professional experience spans product management at media companies, strategic planning at ZDFneo, and NGO fieldwork in Sri Lanka.
