Tanja Conni Strecker is a Researcher at the Centre d'Estudis sobre Joventut i Societat (JOVIS.com) at the University of Lleida, where she works as a pre-doctoral scholarship recipient (FPU) on her doctoral thesis under Professor Carles Feixa's supervision.
Her educational background includes:
- Education Sciences at University of Giessen, Germany (2011)
- Master's in Educational Research at University of Lleida (2012-2013)
- Visiting Researcher at Youth Research Centre, University of Melbourne (3 months in 2014)
Strecker's research focuses on social inequality in university education, applying intersectional perspectives and documentary methods. Her work examines how social disparities manifest in higher education settings and contributes to JOVIS.com's research line on youth transitions, public policies, education, and the labor market.
As a member of JOVIS.com—an interdisciplinary research group recognized by the Catalan Government—she collaborates with scholars from anthropology, sociology, geography, economics, law, and communication. The center participates in numerous national and international projects including European H2020 initiatives and national R+D+i programs.
Strecker contributes to academic activities including the Youth Studies Seminar (seJOVIS) and supports the Interuniversity Master's in Youth and Society offered across multiple Catalan universities.
