Eduard Ballesté Isern is a predoctoral researcher at the University of Lleida, affiliated with the Department of Geography and Sociology and the interdisciplinary research group Centre d'Estudis sobre Joventut i Societat (Jovis.com). His work focuses on youth, social movements, and political dynamics in contemporary urban settings, particularly in Lleida after the 15M protests.
His research interests include:

Eduard is contributing to an emerging body of interdisciplinary scholarship on youth in Southern Europe, with a qualitative methodological approach rooted in ethnography. His doctoral work is supervised by Carles Feixa, a leading figure in youth studies.
He has been involved with research initiatives such as the TRANSGANG project and participates in academic networks focused on youth cultures, digital communication, and public policy.
